I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent and professional service that we received from SMC. The works commenced on the 31st October and was completed on the 5th November, just six days from start to finish to transform our living area to a large open plan living. The job itself was quite major in view of the size and span of the main RSJ which was almost 5 metres long as well as incorporating an upright steel support at one end and a brick built pier on the opposite side. Clean,tidy excellent job done

We found Sean and SMC online and when they arrived to assess the work I was most impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. Before they started work they invited us to see a similar project they were working on. The guys were really friendly and worked extremely hard, Sean kept us informed all the way through the build of timeline considering it was close to Christmas they assured us it would be done on time and it was. There were a few snags along the way but Sean and the guys coped exceptionally well. He organised all the other trades to be on time with a firm but fair hand. Given that they had to take two walls out and put up 3 steels they did it with no fuss and cleaned up afterwards I would unreservedly recommend SMC to anyone and would happily have them back if needed. Great bunch of guys and a good laugh to go with it, a must when they take a quarter of your house down.

Shaun and team recently finished a job for us including structural work, plastering, tiling, decorating, plumbing & electrics. From start to finish the experience was excellent. Shaun is a really nice guy who really knows his stuff, there's no part of a building that he does not know about. All his team are nice and do excellent quality work. Shaun's quotes are competitive and fair - any changes to the cost were all for good reason. The results are solid and stunning. Highly recommended.
